UK to Mediterranean via Sem Fed (One Way)

UK to Mediterranean via Sem Fed (One Way)

This outbound Med route is for those clients wanting to travel one way with us and will pick up throughout the UK at Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield Meadowhall, Trowell, Leicester Forest, Northampton, South Mimms, Waltham Abbey, Gravesend and Dover and drop off at Paris (Overnight Stay will be required for those heading South), Auxerre, Beaune, Roanne (Semaine Fédérale), Valence and Orange.

This long established route has proved extremely popular with our clients.

Paris

This is a popular drop off for those wanting to return from Paris to London. Enjoys good access to the Marne Valley. Here we will have an overnight stay, for those heading south, which you will need to book your own hotel at St. Witz, a map will be sent with the hotel and restaurant options near to the drop off/pick off.

Auxerre   - An excellent starting point for a tour of Burgundy and convenient for Vézelay - starting point for the Santiago de Compostela pilgrim route to Spain.

Beaune - Scenic routes north to the Parc Régional du Morvan and quiet roads south to the Jura Mountains. Low gears needed!

Roanne

This will be the host in the Loire, for the popular 84th Semaine Fédérale but you can also get off the coach here and do some easy cycling along the Canal, or why not try the intermediate or expert routes.

Valence

Starting point for exploring the Vercors. Tough climbs reaching 1000ft high, offers superb views and easy riding once you're up there. Further east the mountains of the Alps offer snow capped scenery and the chance to tackle some of the classic mountain passes.

Orange

Go west to the Ardeche or head east into Provence and enjoy Mont Ventoux or the mountains of the Luberon and the Gorge du Verdon. Easier cycling can be found in the Rhône Valley.

The point that you can see on the google map when you are fully zoomed in is the exact area where the European Bike Express Coach can be found. We strongly recommend that you supply us with a contact number in case we need to advise you of any important information about your transfer close to the time of departure. We will be leaving the hotel at 06:00 the following morning. Please do not book breakfast as this won't be available until 06:30 and we will have left. We will stop at around 08:15 to allow you to get breakfast. Please do NOT book the Roissy Charles de Gaulle Hotels, you want the Roissy St Witz ones.
