UK To Mediterranean (One Way Only)

The Med route is for those clients wishing to travel One Way only with us. We will pick-up at Leeds, Wakefield, Meadowhall, Trowell Services, Leicester Forest, Northampton, South Mimms, Waltham Abbey, Gravesend & Dover and drop-offs will be at Paris (Overnight Stay will be required for those heading south) and the following day at Auxerre, Beaune, Macon, Lyon, Valence, Orange and Montpellier in May (Narbonne & Rosas also in Sept. only). For July please see Med Routes via Semaine Fédérale.

This long established route has proved extremely popular with our clients.

This is a popular drop off for those wanting to return from Paris to London. Enjoys good access to the Marne Valley. Here we will have an overnight stay, for those heading south, which you will need to book your own hotel at St. Witz, a map will be sent with the hotel and restaurant options near to the drop off/pick off.

Auxerre (May and Sept only)

Excellent starting point for a tour of Burgundy and convenient for Vezelay - Starting point for the Santiago de Compostela pilgrim route to Spain.

Beaune (May and Sept only)

Scenic routes north to the Parc Régional du Morvan and quiet roads south to the Jura Mountains. Low gears needed!

Macon (May and Sept only)

Explore the Jura Mountains, head east to the Alps or south east to the plateau of the Dombes, or enter the Massif Central for some excellent cycling.

Roanne (July only)

This will be the host in the Loire, for the popular 85th Semaine Fédérale but you can also get off the coach here and do some easy cycling along the Canal, or why not try the intermediate or expert routes.

Lyon (May and Sept only)

Well placed for the Jura Mountains, the Chartreuse, French Alps and Lyonnais Mountains.

Starting point for exploring the Vercors. Tough climbs reaching 1000ft high, offers superb views and easy riding once you're up there. Further east the mountains of the Alps offer snow capped scenery and the chance to tackle some of the classic mountain passes.

Go west to the Ardeche or head east into Provence and enjoy Mont Ventoux or the mountains of the Luberon and the Gorge du Verdon. Easier cycling can be found in the Rhône Valley.

Montpellier (May and Sept only)

Flat easy cycling to the mouth of the Rhône. More challenging cycling is in the countryside of the Cévennes and Gorges de Tarn.

Narbonne (September only)

Flat easy cycling to the north and west and Carcassonne is an opportunity to explore the foothills of the Pyrénées.

Rosas (September only)

Why not head inland and explore the volcanic natural parks beyond Banyoles, or cycle the fascinating nature reserves of Emporda. Or if you want to use a base on the beautiful Bay of Roses then look at our Fixed Holiday Options.  If you need a day to recover or just rest it is ideal. Click HERE

We strongly recommend that you supply us with a contact number in case we need to advise you of any important information about your transfer close to the time of departure. We will stop at around 08:15 to allow you to get breakfast. Please do NOT book the Roissy Charles de Gaulle Hotels, you want the Roissy St Witz ones.
